Blending smooth flavours of old school house, garage and R’n’B lines with current production values, Rising Star DreamKiller has been making waves with deep, sexy, Lo-Fi and Tech tracks like BDSM, Lipsing, Temptations, Dreamland and Avalon.
Running his own imprint Aesthetic Fantasies, and dropping tracks with Falling Apart and Al Gharib Global, his slick sounds have been gaining him fans and attention globally.
As he enjoys critical success after dropping release Confused Emotions, Collabhouse managed to snatch a few moments of his time to find out more…
- Name: DreamKiller
- Genre(s): Lo-Fi House, Deep House, Techno, Tech House.
- Latest release: Confused Emotions, the reaction fans was great, they were excited.
- Biggest release? My biggest release was (EP) Inner Secrets, I think what made it such a hit was the blend of groove and sexiness.
- What labels have you released on: I have released most of my music under my own label Aesthetic Fantasies but I have had the pleasure of releasing music under Falling Apart and Al Gharib Global. A dream label for me would be Steel City Dance Discs.
- Who have you collaborated with: I’ve had the chance of collaborating with DJ Darko and 0000kintsugi, though that is all for now but I look forward to working with other creative minds.
- Who are your musical influences? Believe it or not but one of my influencers is Drake. Completely different genres but his producers and of course himself have such a beautiful, classy sound. In his more lover boy sounds like Marvin's Room, Jungle, and even Paris Martin Music, the tracks bring out such a dynamic and atmospheric sound, such as can be caught in my music mainly towards the end of the tracks or sometimes in the beginning, you’ll hear my music taking a dreamy-like trip into space with lots of emotions.
- If you could collaborate with one major artist, who would it be and why? I would love to collaborate with Kettama. I can sense, hear, and feel an influence of 90s house within his music with a touch of modern house and of course with his added style, his music has a very nice finesse which I would definitely be able to work with, as I see him and I being similar.
- What’s coming up for you that we should be excited about? I have a new release coming out called Memories Of You that I am thrillingly looking forward too. I always get excited about new releases of mine even though I obviously know how the tracks sound like but I think it's the joy of others listening to my work is what gets me excited, for my followers and fans.
- Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Hopefully touring, meeting and greeting my fans who have supported me even when I was down, and exceeding my previous accomplishments to continue growing more and more.
- What’s your Spotify account:
- Where can we find you online? Instagram
- Message for the Collabhouse Community: Appreciate those who follow you, they are the reason why your music thrives so make sure you work harder each release to give them what they want. They motivate you to grow, make more music, and better yourself as an artist while they get the pleasure of listening to your masterpiece so it's a win win.
