Rising Star Q&A with Kitty Mack

Kat Bailey

One of Norway’s most exciting young stars, Kitty Mack has a timeless sound that seamlessly blends nostalgic elements with modern production.

With a powerful vocal underpinned by retro-inspired beats, her songs have a sound that feels both familiar and innovate.

Having studied at the prestigious Lillehammer Institute of Music Production and Industries (aka LIMPI Music) in 2023, an opportunity to travel to Los Angeles to collaborate with producers and songwriters from Stargate’s music school, LAAMP, saw Kitty go on to perform at LA venue Elcid, and legendary Brat Pack club Viper Room.

Since then her profile has been on a major trajectory, with performances at Norwegian festivals Rekettnatt, Grenseløs Vår, Sørviev, and Driv.

Most recently she collaborated with us here at Collabhouse, offering her single ‘Home’ up for our major new remix competition.

With an official release via Collabhouse on the cards for the winner, as well as a year’s subscription to Reason+, Fabfilter Essential Bundle pack, Chase Bliss effects pedal, and a priceless 1-on-1 Collabhouse career mentoring session, the competition is unsurprisingly fierce.
